Tom is putting his knowledge and professional experience to work to make a difference in the State Assembly for Glastonbury citizens. During his business career, he was formerly general counsel at Electric Boat, so he knows the importance of the defense industry to Connecticut. Prior to that, he was counsel for Europe, the Middle East and Africa for a former group of Combustion Engineering based in London, as well as doing litigation with a firm on Wall Street in NYC.
Tom has worked for an equipment supplier to the oil and gas industry in Houston, which gives him good insights into how that industry works. He now works at ALSTOM Power Inc. and has daily first hand knowledge of how a Connecticut company competes in the global economy. He also serves on the Board of the Glastonbury Chamber of Commerce. Those insights are invaluable to his service for Connecticut and Glastonbury in the State Legislature.
