On Wednesday, state Rep. Tom Kehoe and the Glastonbury Town Center Initiative will host a forum on smart growth — an efficient and environmentally sensitive method of commercial development. The free, public event is titled “Growth From Statehouse to Main Street: Suburban Towns Plan for the Future.”
Kehoe was one of only a dozen legislators included in the list for his “persistent and firm efforts” protecting the environment, standing up for clean air, clean water and clean energy. The group also said the award was for “giving our irreplaceable beaches, parks, forests, farmland and other open space the protection they deserve.”
