Our Glastonbury State Rep Tom Kehoe recently rectified one of those stupid things that can drive you nuts. This one involved a sign on Route 2 noting that the highway section was dedicated to Sgt. David Coullard.
Coullard as you hopefully know, was a U.S. Marine from Glastonbury who was killed in Iraq. A local resident noticed that the sign the Department of Transportation (DOT) erected to honor Sgt. Coullard had been installed behind a pole. She called Tom Kehoe’s legislative office and within two days the sign had been relocated so that it was in full view. Thank you, Tom, from all of us who (like you, I am sure) view David Coullard’s sacrifice with respect and regret…
